About this blog: Lines of Escape is a travel and food blog that aims to highlight travel destinations through storytelling, by focusing on unique and off-the-beaten-track activities and venues and through the use of original photography.
About the author: Originally hailing from Cape Town, South Africa, I moved to London to pursue a career in writing and travel. I’ve been running Lines of Escape since 2012 and, thanks to the work on this blog, I got hired by a major travel company. I hold an honours degree in English Literature, so the focus for Lines of Escape is to write high-quality content that features both personality as well as unique perspectives on travel destinations. Read more about me on the About page.
